Happy Anniversary!

Well, it's official. I've been here for one month to the day! I arrived mid-morning on September 6th. Happy Anniversary to me! And to celebrate that and also to pay tribute to the start of the hockey season this week  I give you this:  A Spaniard in a Blackhawks jersey. The only hockey jersey I have seen since coming here.

The Gopher and Bulldog official home openers are tomorrow! And as much as my friends are going to shun me for this, I am predicting the Bulldog series this weekend to be better, faster, and more competitive. The Bulldogs play Notre Dame. The last time these two teams met was in the NCAA Frozen Four this past spring, when the Bulldogs went on to win the national championship. The Gophers are playing Sacred Heart, a team they have never played before.
